XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

ПМЭФFrom 2 to 5 June 2021, St. Petersburg hosted the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which became the world's first and largest full-time business event after a forced break due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year it was attended by 13 thousand participants. About 800 transactions were concluded for a total of 3.8 trillion rub. One of the most important discussion platforms of the forum - Russia - Africa, was called upon to determine the most important areas of Russian-African cooperation in the near future.

The moderator of the Russia - Africa discussion platform was Irina Olegovna Abramova, Director of the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of the Scientific Council under the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum.
