The book “The US Policy in Africa (the end of 2022 – the beginning of 2024)” is the sequel of five author’s works analysing the US Africa policy from 2017 to the beginning of 2023 during the presidentcies of B. Obama, D. Trump and J. Biden, published by the Institute for African Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences.

The book consists of two parts. The first is devoted to the implementation of the US-Africa leaders’ summit “Vision of US – Africa partnership” in the political, economic, military and other spheres. The major program documents – “The Strategy to Prevent Conflicts and Promote Stability”, “Democratic and Political Transitions in Africa”, “The Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment”, “Digital Transformation with Africa”.

The second part deals with US relations with individual African states. The US policy towards South Africa, Libya, Sudan, Niger and Gabon is described minutely, the policy towards Algeria, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, Somalia, Uganda, Central African Republic, Ethiopia and South Sudan – by strokes.
