The monograph is devoted to the analysis of a wide range of problems related to the main types of activity in the service sector in African countries. The rapid growth of the service sector and its impact on the socio-economic development of the continent, as well as state regulation of employment and financing of service sectors (trade, key infrastructure sectors, innovation, etc.) are considered in detail. Particular attention is paid to public sector services - education, healthcare and security, which have a direct impact on the quality and standard of living of the population. The interaction of African states with Eurasian partners in the service sector is characterized, as well as the main forms of expansion of the tourism services sector in the context of the actively unfolding digitalization of the economy. Among the main areas promising for Russian-African cooperation, the article considers such service sectors as foreign trade, education, medicine, transport, energy supply, construction services, as well as scientific research, including expanding opportunities for the transfer of new technologies.
