The IAS RAS staff was awarded the Acknowledgement of the President of the Russian Federation

On May 21, 2025, the staff of the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences was awarded the Acknowledgement of the President of the Russian Federation for merits in research activities in the field of African studies and many years of conscientious work.

Presenting the Acknowledgement to the Institute's staff represented by the Deputy Director of IAS RAS Ruslan Vasilievich Dmitriev, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Valery Nikolayevich Falkov noted: “The award testifies to the high quality of your work and high goals, to your dedication to your work. Your knowledge, skills, responsibility, purposefulness ... make a huge contribution to the development of our country and the creation of a worthy future for new generations”.
