Call for Participation
The Center for Civilizational and Regional Studies of the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences will hold an online conference on December 11, 2025, on the topic "Prospects for destabilization processes in African countries".
The conference's theme and focus are determined by the increasing role of religious factors in conflicts on the African continent.
The goal is to discuss and develop mechanisms for preventing and resolving instability caused by various factors. The following issues are planned for discussion:
• the main factors of destabilization/stabilization processes in African countries;
• the influence of these processes on the conditions and possibilities of civilizational development;
• revolutionary and quasi-revolutionary processes in African countries;
• BRICS+ and the principles of the new world order.
We invite researchers, professors, graduate students, and undergraduates to participate in the conference. The organizing committee accepts abstracts (up to 2 pages or 3,000 characters), which must be submitted up to and including December 5. Materials sent after the deadline will not be accepted!
